Colson Kelly or Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique way he raps. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April in 1990 to a German as well as an English Scottish family. As a child Baker spent a large amount of time travelling with his parents who were missionaries. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment while his mom Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Following that Baker and his dad moved to Denver which was where they resided together with his father's aunt. Baker had to endure bullying from fellow children because of his lack of wealth. The first time Baker heard of rap was when he entered sixth class. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. In his music, he is well known for blending hip-hop trends of the present with rock. Prior to signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. These Cleveland rapper who raps songs as quickly as bullet-trains, had an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011, after he shifted to self-publishing mixtapes instead of working with respected labels. Then, his fame increased exponentially as every albums charted inside the top 10 charts.
